![]() | Prof. Zhiwen Yu South China University of Technology, China Dr. Zhiman Yu is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Computer Science, South China University of Technology. He serves as a dual-appointed mentor at the Peng Cheng Laboratory, a consultant to Huawei, Chair of the IEEE Computer Society Guangzhou Chapter, and a council member of the China Computer Federation (CCF) from 2016 to 2023. He has published more than 200 academic papers, including over 90 long papers in IEEE Transactions, with more than 18,000 citations on Google Scholar and an h-index of 59. He serves as an associate editor of IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics: Systems, an associate editor of IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems, and a editorial board member of Computer Applications, the journal of the CCF. He has led and participated in more than 30 projects, including leading key projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) (Artificial Intelligence for Emergency Management), the Excellent Young Scientists Fund, the Cultivation Project of the Major Research Program of NSFC, general projects and youth projects, as well as Guangdong Province’s Key R&D Program (basic directions of artificial intelligence) and the Guangdong Outstanding Young Scientists Fund. He has won the Second Prize of the Wu Wenjun Artificial Intelligence Natural Science Award (ranked first) and the Second Prize of the Natural Science Award of the China Computer Federation (ranked first), and was selected for Stanford University’s 2024 list of the world’s top 2% scientists. |
